Hello,
I write this post with hesitation and alot of guilt and sadness for many reasons. I started the USS Einstein months ago when I was fed up with the way most but not all RPG's have these random stupid story lines and missed the days where instead of forcing people to post they post themselves. I strived to do this with the Einstein however just like alot of new commanding officers I struggled to get you guys to post.
Now I know alot of you infact there is five to six of us who are posting on the Joint mission posts and their are alot of us who are taking intreast yet I made a deal. With Obsidian Fleet up are engines asking us to get a good posting turn out - get the ship active I made an agreement that if six people did not get in and post before tuesday I would resign. An in that I failed - failed by one. But as a man of my word I do.
I do not only resign from the USS Einstein but from the simming world all together until I find a new home. I've been with Obsidian Fleet for around three years and I took part in some fanatstic simms to simm like the Einstein that had the potential that didnt get released.
I also believe that Obsidian Fleet needs to reievew their admission policy not just for normal players but for commanding officers too I will admit it was fairly easy to get into this postion. Unforuntly there seems to be alot of spin off websites and some good and very good fleets out there that has copied Obsidian Fleets once unique idea and enhanced it some with success and some with failure.
So as this chapter of my life closes I hope for those who continue to be active in this virtual community tries their best to try and keep it roling with the times yet keep the standards as high of which they use to be.
An on the last note: Always remember that this is just a game and it means nothing in real life - nothing. When you go to the grave you wont be remembered by a legacy of a star trek game you kept going more like the person who sat at the PC talkign to trekkers from all over the world living a fantasty. I was never a serious one but you can see the ones who are who spend their life pouring over this game. Its great in moderation but if you let it consume your life your no better than the person who sleeps in all the time, the person that just stays in and eats, the person who at school would do no work.
Life is the biggest game your in - PLEASE dont waste it for this!
Thanks for being a good crew and thank you obsidian fleet for giving me the dose of simming I needed you were my virtual simming "hospice" and for that I thank you. An thank you to people like Engie TF21 CO who dedicate their lifes to this game in which we experience.

Okay, now we on the Einstein did have a slow start but I feel were going at a good speed a reasonable one for people who have a lot on. Now I know alot of people especially in the USA are coming up to their finals and ten people in the UK coming up towards there exams in the next 8 weeks.
So I am going to allow a personnel log entry if mission relevant count as a post. I know alot of CO's are finding it a problem with people not actually posting and going inactive due to exams.
Please just go on LOA and we can work it out :).
Apart from that T-minus 6-8hours for launch!
